Eliza ADHD Coach 1.png

We are looking for a 1099 Contract ADHD Coach!

Before you read the details, I want you to understand who we are and what this work actually is.

I’m Dr. Eliza Barach, a cognitive psychologist and ADHD coach, and I also have ADHD. I know what it’s like to have a brain that is powerful, fast, creative and, at times, completely unpredictable. That experience is what pushed me to study the brain at a deeper level, not just to cope, but to understand it well enough to work with it.

If you join this team, I will be invested in your growth as a coach and as a person. I will challenge you, support you, and expect a high level of thinking and engagement in return. This is a team that values depth, ownership, and doing this work well.

If that excites you, keep reading.

Position Overview

We are hiring an experienced ADHD coach to work 1:1 with high-performing professionals and entrepreneurs with ADHD.

Our coaching moves beyond standard models of accountability and productivity. We use a flexible, client-centered, brain-based approach grounded in executive function theory, motivation science, and psychological principles.

This work requires the ability to think dynamically. You should be able to apply and adapt theory in real time, rather than relying on fixed frameworks or “one-size-fits-all” strategies.

Unconditional positive regard for clients is foundational. You must be able to hold that consistently, while also providing thoughtful challenge.

This role is best suited for coaches who are comfortable operating without rigid structure and can adapt fluidly to complex, evolving client presentations.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide 1:1 ADHD coaching to adults

  • Conduct discovery calls and assess client fit

  • Form and revise working hypotheses about client behavior in real time

  • Use those hypotheses to guide questions, interventions, and strategy

  • Develop individualized, brain-based approaches

  • Navigate ambiguity without over-relying on scripts or protocols

  • Maintain session documentation

  • Participate in supervision

How You Think

  • Strong understanding of ADHD, executive function, and motivation science

  • Advanced case conceptualization skills

  • Ability to identify underlying mechanisms, not just surface behaviors

  • Systems-level thinking over tactical “tips”

  • Ability to adjust approach mid-session based on new information

  • Comfortable working in ambiguity and complexity

  • Capacity for sustained cognitive and emotional effort

Qualifications

  • ADHD coaching training (e.g., ADDCA, JST, Mentor Coach or similar)

  • Coaching credential (BCC, ACC, PCC, or equivalent)

  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field required; advanced degree preferred

  • Experience coaching adults with ADHD

Compensation

Compensation ranges from $35–$50 per 60-minute coaching session, based on experience, training, and overall fit for the role.

Ideal Candidate

  • Masters or doctoral degree in psychology or related field

  • Excited by complex cases and driven to continuously learn

  • Can clearly articulate why an intervention is used, not just what

  • Comfortable revising their understanding of a client over time

  • Maintains high standards for both science and client care

  • Demonstrates consistent unconditional positive regard

  • Prioritizes client experience while maintaining professional boundaries

To Apply:

To apply, please complete the application form linked below.

The application includes:

  • Uploading your resume/CV

  • Answering a series of open-ended questions about your background, ADHD-specific training, coaching approach, and how you think through complex client situations

These questions are designed to help us understand not just what you’ve done, but how you conceptualize clients, approach the work, and navigate complexity as a coach.

This role requires depth of thinking, flexibility, and strong alignment with the way we practice at Neural Revolution, so the application is intentionally more thoughtful than a standard job form.
